Spring Session Starts Wednesday!

Dear Wrestling Parent,

Spring Session starts this Wednesday! We'll be practicing one night per week starting this Wednesday (March 30). Practices will be at the UVA Wrestling Room from 6-7:30 pm and run by UVA Volunteer Assistant Coach Shelton Mack with the help of some others (including UVA wrestlers).

Reminder: CWC Banquet on March 13

Dear CWC Parents and Coaches,

Here are a few more important announcements.

1. WE STILL NEED PEOPLE TO BRING DESSERTS FOR THIS SUNDAY'S BANQUET. Please email me if you are able to help us out.
2. If you have a CWC wrestling singlet, please return it to Coach Chris Wiles at the banquet this weekend. If you are unable to attend this weekend or if you would like to keep your singlet for use at a future tournament, please contact Coach Wiles at chris.wiles@stvfd.org to make other arrangements for singlet return.

Cavalier Wrestling Club Winter Season Banquet - March 13

Dear CWC Parents,
It is official! Our Cavalier Wrestling Club Banquet will take place on Sunday, March 13, at Walker Upper Elementary School. I sincerely hope you can all join us. The "banquet" is actually more like a family-friendly barbecue, and it will be our chance to you tell you one last time just how amazing we think your kids are. Each wrestler will leave with their very own medal, which they have more than earned through all their hard work this past winter.

A few more quick updates
Several of you have emailed with questions regarding the local wrestling tournaments occurring this weekend. I highly encourage you all to sign your kids up to participate. The CWC plans to have coaches at both Wilson Memorial High School and Orange County High School. No matter which tournament you choose to attend, we will have someone there to coach your child. HOWEVER, PLEASE NOTE THAT IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO REGISTER YOUR CHILD FOR THESE COMPETITIONS, AND EACH TOURNAMENT HAS A REGISTRATION FEE THAT WILL NEED TO BE PAID IN FOR THEM TO PARTICIPATE. P.S. We are shooting to begin the Spring Session on Wednesday, March 23. We are waiting for the UVA season to conclude before starting these practices again, and registration information will be emailed to all of you in the coming weeks.
