Camp

CWC Parents/ Guardians,
Thank you all for signing up for the Building Basics Camp! We have the perfect number of wrestlers for this camp so it is sure to be a great learning experience. We will be in the Western Albemarle High School Wrestling Room  (
5941 Rockfish Gap Turnpike

Crozet , VA 22932) for all sessions. To find the wrestling room make a left in the parking lot and head toward the tennis courts. The wrestling room will be the last possible entrance into the building before you hit the tennis courts (please only enter through this door).
If your wrestlers have wrestling gear they are welcome to bring it. Wrestling shoes are not required but wrestlers will not be allowed to wear street shoes on the mat. Some kids practice in socks and that is fine for the beginner level. Play it Again Sports sells used small wrestling shoes for less than $20 if anyone needs a pair. Other than the wrestling gear, physical education or gym (workout) attire is perfect for the camp.  The camp will run from 1:00-2:30 June 25-28. If you have any other questions feel free to email me. Thank you again, I look forward to seeing you on Monday at 1:00!

NHSCA

Several CWC wrestlers competed in the 2018 NHSCA Nationals last weekend. We did not come away with any "All-Americans" but we did have some great performances and some solid wins! The hard work is paying off!

Re: Cavalier Wrestling Club

We have been asked to give a rough estimate as to the number attending on Saturday at the Timber Wood Grill. If you know you will be stopping by please sent an email to me. This is just a rough estimate so if your plans change, it is not a problem. Thanks

My name is Rick Palmer, and I am the new Scholastic Program Director for the Cavalier Wrestling Club. We are grateful for the support from our SP Volunteer Coaches. This program is a success because of them. In order to show our appreciation to the volunteers who dedicate their time and skills to our club, we are hosting a Coaches Social Event at the TIMBERWOOD TAP HOUSE (near Wegmans) on Saturday March 10th at 5:00pm. If you are able to come thank the coaches and socialize, we would love to see you there.
