Cavalier Wrestling Club Competition Schedule

Dear CWC Parents,
I hope you've all had a good weekend. Below you will find a list of wrestling matches and tournaments that we are planning to attend during the coming months. Some of these competitions are limited to specific ages, and many of the details are still being worked out. We will undoubtedly add to this schedule, but in the meantime we wanted to give you a chance to circle these dates on your calendars.

 

(Parents of middle school-aged wrestlers, please note that there are two opportunities for your child to compete next weekend: 1) City/County Tournament at Charlottesville High School on Saturday, and 2) Wilson Memorial Tournament at Wilson Memorial HS on Sunday. Coach Kammauff will have more information at Monday evening's practice.)

• Saturday, Dec. 12 at 8 am - City/County Tournament at Charlottesville High School (Middle School Wrestlers and experienced 5th Graders ONLY)
• Sunday, Dec. 13 at 11 am - Wilson Memorial Tournament at Wilson Memorial HS (Middle School Wrestlers Only)

• Sunday, Jan. 10 at 2:30 pm - Tri Meet with Greene County at William Monroe HS (All ages)
• Thursday, Jan 14 at 4 pm - Match with Covenant at Covenant's Upper Campus (All ages, but limited to 15-20 wrestlers. Coaches will arrange match-ups and contact parents prior to this match)
• (Tentative) Friday, Jan 22 - Match with Appomattox here in Charlottesville. More details to come...
• Tuesday, Feb. 2 at (Time TBD) - Tri-Meet with Wilson Memorial (Middle School Wrestlers Only)

 

Also, we encourage you all to bring your kids out to support the UVA wrestling team during their matches at Memorial Gymnasium. Matches are free, and they are a blast! Check out the UVA schedule by clicking HERE.
