Dear CWC Parents,
I hope you are all having a great fall. Wrestling season is just around the corner, and registration is now open for our Winter Session. Also, for those of you looking to get a jump start on the season, next Saturday, Virginia Wrestling Association (VAWA) and USA Wrestling are working with the UVA wrestling coaches to host a clinic in Charlottesville.
- Winter Wrestling: SIGN UP HERE for the Winter Wresting Session. Practices will begin the week of November 16.
- UVA Clinic: Click here to sign up for the VAWA clinic, held at UVA, on Saturday, October 24. (Please note: The date on the clinic's webpage is incorrect. It is Saturday, October 24, NOT October 23.)
- Parent/Coaches Meeting: We are making plans for a special parent/coaches meeting on Wednesday, November 11. This meeting will be for any parents who are interested in getting more involved as volunteers and/or coaches. It will also be for any parents whose child is interested in participating in weekend and off-season wrestling tournaments. I'll send more information about this in a future email.
We're already in the process of scheduling local wrestling matches, and we're looking forward to another great season. Can't wait to see you all soon!
